The data controller for personal data is Giuseppe Savarese (giuseppesavarese.it), reachable at the email address listed on the website.

We collect the following personal data:

• Email address and password (if you register with email/password) — managed by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC).
• Google account (if you sign in with Google) — via Google OAuth 2.0.
• Usage data: monthly export count, active plan (free/pro), subscription timestamps.
• Work sessions: if you are logged in and use cloud saving, annotations and page rotations are stored in the Firebase database.

PDF files you upload are processed entirely in your browser (client-side) and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

• User authentication and account management.
• Freemium system management (monthly export counting).
• Cloud saving of work sessions (logged-in users only).
• Pro subscription management.

Processing is based on:

• Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): to provide the requested service.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): to prevent abuse and ensure service security.
• Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): for the use of technical and analytics cookies.

• Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database): authentication and data storage. Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics 4: anonymized traffic analysis, activated only upon consent. Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: typographic font loading. Google Privacy Policy.

Account data is retained for as long as the account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting the data controller. Shared session data is automatically deleted 7 days after sharing.

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it ("right to be forgotten"), restrict its processing, port it elsewhere, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact the data controller. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use technical cookies required for the service to function (Firebase authentication) and, with your consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 with anonymized IP). We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

We reserve the right to update this policy. In the event of material changes, we will notify registered users by email.
